Athrodeel is a Syrian artistic duo founded in 2007, composed of singer Assel Massoud and guitarist Ahmad Dyab. Their goal is to replace the sound of war with that of music and to spread cultural exchange through it.

The band’s name is in Aramaic, the oldest language in Syria. ATHRODEEL means «My Land».

Ahmad and Aseel are musicians who trained at the Liceu Higher Conservatory in Barcelona, where Ahmad specialized in flamenco guitar and Aseel is also a lyric soprano. Together, they have presented a fusion of classical Arabic music and oriental flamenco.

They have showcased their artistic projects at international festivals in Colombia, Syria, and France. They have also performed at national ceremonies and official celebrations, including at the Parliament of Catalonia, Palau de Congressos, Sala Parés, MEAM, Liceu Auditorium, Palau Robert, many civic centers, and at festivals like the Portalblau Festival on the Costa Brava.
